Christmas 2022 at First Baptist

We think Christmas is kind of a big deal around here...ok, most of us do!

Seriously, though, we like to make much of Christmas because God made much of us by sending His Son, Jesus, to rescue us from our sins. It's a reason to celebrate! It's a reason to reflect Christ through giving! It's a reason to be in community with others - just as Christ commanded us to.

So, our entire season of Christmas focuses on these three things: Celebration and Worship, Serving our community and getting together to encourage one another.

Take some time to explore ALL the ways you can be a part of the Christmas with First Baptist Church, Stuttgart!

Christmas Services

We will be offering two Christmas services for you and your family to enjoy this Christmas:

Saturday, December 24 at 5:00pm - Join us for our Candlelight Lord's Supper Service

Sunday, December 25 at 10:15am - We'll have a casual service on Christmas morning with Christmas carols, a special children's sermon and an encouraging word from Pastor Grant.  (Pajama's are welcome!)

Other Events of Christmas 2022

December sermon series

We can name the characters of the Christmas story. But, what can the various objects of the Christmas story teach us?

Each Sunday, Pastor Grant will focus on Christmas Props - those elements of the birth of Jesus and how they can lead us into a deeper relationship with Him and a more peaceful season.

Join us each Sunday morning in December at 10:15am for worship and teaching.

Lighting of the Christmas tree

Monday, December 5 (immediately following the city's Christmas Parade)

A new tradition we started last year!

Come by the church immediately following the city's Christmas Parade for snacks, music, camp fires and the lighting of our 30 foot Christmas tree!

Ladies Luncheon

Sunday, Dec. 4 @ 11:30am

An annual tradition for our ladies and their guests.

It's a great time of fellowship around some AMAZINGLY decorated tables. The food is great, the fellowship is awesome and it's a great way to introduce new women to our church.

This year's speaker is Dr. Beth Anne Rankin. You'll be blessed!

Community Christmas Musical concert

Sunday, December 18 @ 6pm at the Grand Prairie Center

How about an evening of choral music to celebrate the season? We have you covered!

Join us at the Grand Prairie Center for a joint choir presentation of music!

NOTE: We will also take up an offering that evening to support our Ministerial Alliance's Benevolence Fund.
