Women's Small Groups

The purpose of the FBC Women’s Ministry is to aid the church in its purpose of developing fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through outreach, bible study, worship, prayer, and fellowship opportunities offered to women of all ages and stages in life.

At the heart of the Women’s Ministry are God and His word. Studies are ongoing and vary in length and topic. They are usually held on Wednesday evenings so that child care is provided but occasionally meet at other times. Some recent studies include:
“One in a Million” by Priscilla Shirer
“Fingerprints of God: Recognizing God’s Touch on Your Daily Life” by Jennifer Rothschild
“Frazzled Female”

Our mission activities are scheduled and advertised throughout the year in the church newsletter and through other forms of announcements. Yearly we collect and send shoeboxes as part of Operation Christmas Child and we strive to have a dedicated mission activity each quarter.

Once a year, we hold a Women’s Retreat that could be a day or an overnight stay. Ladies Luncheons are held twice a year following the Sunday Morning Worship Service.

As we sponsor these events, we strive to reach women for Christ, help women mature in their faith, involve women in service through spiritual gifts and talents, support and undergird the church and throw in a lot of fun.
